So last night as we are getting the boys to bed my husband calls me forms my youngest sons room and says his braces are broken.(He was born with clubbed foot.) I say no I bet the screw is just loose. I go in and check and yep he broke them. He is a very strong 1 1/2 year old.

This morning i called over to the UofI to see if I could come get an other pair, the orthopedic department sends me over to American Prosthetics and they say they have to check and see of he can get another pair because he just got some in June. BS. He got two pairs earlier in the year so we dodnt have to travel back to Iowa City because he is growing so fast. He has almost outgrown the size 5 he is in now already so I just said he would need the next size up because our next visit with the DR isnt till December. So they say they will call back, that CBC dq as three hours ago. I live three hours away and would really like to know if I am able to get them or not.

I am so frustrated right now because I am worried that if he goes to many days without the braces his foot will start regressing or he will be used to sleeping without them and it will be difficult to go back. He has a 30% chance of regression now if we were to completely stop making him wear them(he only has to wear them at night). Still not a chance I am really willing to take though.

Ugh sorry for the long post but today is just frustrating in so many ways.
