First-timer with IVF

Just got my meds delivered this morning! Stopping birth control on the 27th get scanned on the 28th and then start meds on the 31st. I’m taking gonal-f and cetrotide I was told to inject in the belly 😬 and this whole time I was preparing for butt shots. Not sure if the belly is worse or better ha! We’re doing frozen and probably not going to transfer until October or November after our vacation (we booked a trip to Paris bc we were getting frustrated with ttc and needed a break so the timing worked out well). Do the butt shots come into play for the transfer? I know I’ll have to take meds with the transfer but they didn’t tell me which ones yet. Right now we’re focused on retrieval first.

Any nasty side effects with these two drugs?

Better to use an ice cube to numb the area even on the belly? I saw a lot of people recommended that.. also warming the meds? They’re in my fridge right now. The gonal-f is the redi inject one. Any help, support, suggestions welcome! I’m nervous and excited at the same time!
