Who all is NOT Dilated?

I'm not and really hoped I would be 😞
36 weeks today, had my appointment yesterday and nothing. She said my cervix is starting to soften though so that made me happy!
Purchased an exercise ball to 🤞hopefully🤞 help things along

For me the cervical checks are pointless ... with my last pregnancy the nurse told me my son was “way high up there” and she had the hardest time reaching the cervix - little did I know he would be born only 30 min after that  (and boy was that painful lol)

37+2 today with my second boy, and I’m not dilated at all but my cervix is softened. With my first son, I was 1-2 cm dilated since he checked me at 36 weeks, but I didn’t have him until 41+2 the day before I was supposed to be induced. I was super disappointed to hear I wasn’t dilated today, but I had to remind myself that dilation is nothing until you’re actually in labor! Hang in there momma, I know how you’re feeling! ❤️

I honestly have no idea and won’t even bother having them check me. I never dilate early. And my labor and deliveries are short. It means nothing until actual labor starts.

I’m 38w 3d I had an appointment today and my midwife didn’t want to check me. I asked her about it & she said she wasn’t going to bother if I’m not getting contractions there’s no point to check me. She’s like it’s just going to be uncomfortable so I’m not going to check you. I was so upset when I left my appointment. My husband knew I was pissed.

I don’t know if I am or not, my doctor told me today that she will check me next week (so at about 38 and a half weeks)

My doc checked me at my appointments this week and last week. I’m 37 weeks today and still not dilated. She wants to induce due to high blood pressure, but is wary of inducing before I’m dilated at all. If my BP goes up or I start dilating, then we’ll set a date.

Got checked today! I'm 37 weeks and 1 cm, cervix beginning to soften but no %. All I have to say is no one is talking about how much that check hurt! Lmao I'm terrified of labor. Epidural decision has been made 😅
