Help i can’t decide

I’m currently talking to this guy in the military who is really great and I’m a single mother but he admitted he had sex with a girl last Friday night and was supposed to come see me for the weekend Saturday-Sunday but only came Sunday and told me he felt guilty about sleeping with that girl now lady’s we aren’t dating but do I give him a chance to prove him self or just move on
