Family Rant

It all started because my husband brought me a new car.

My husband makes over $100,000/year (good money for the area we live in) and he is also in the National Guard so some weekends he’s gone and 3 weeks out the summer he’s away. I’m a stay at home wife and also attending school online for my masters. My family gives me a hard time saying I am lazy because I don’t work and I didn’t deserve it. We aren’t struggling financially without me working so what’s the big freaking deal with them?

They keep saying he married me to have a maid, but when we got married I had a job and we both agreed that school would be my only priority at the moment. They think because I’m not burning myself out that I’m lazy. What the hell. & it’s none of their business what my husband buys me and if I work or not.

Sorry, I just needed to rant.
