So my original due date was September 29th but due to preexisting liver disease and ulcerative colitis they are treating my pregnancy like i have cholestastis (which technically i do only difference is i have “cholestastis” even when im not pregnant) I am 34 weeks and 3 days and my cervix is closed and 0% effaced. I am being induced on September 8th & I just have a gut feeling that my body will not respond to the inducing and end up having an emergency c section. So i guess my question is, would i be able to opt for a scheduled c section, the less surprise would be better, with this being my first baby, no dilation & already at a higher risk for c section bc of my liver & colon i personally think I should just opt for the c section. Any opinions and do you think the doctor would let me? I go back monday for a check up I plan on discussing this with her.
