Hcg test

So I had my pregnancy confirmation appointment yesterday. I’m 5w3d. All they did was write me a script to get my blood drawn at Quest to see my hcg. I asked them if I will go every 2-3 days to see if the levels rise and they said only if this draw is low. Ugh!

They didn’t even give me a transvaginal ultrasound to see if there was a sac or anything. I have to wait until 8 weeks.

Anyone else only get one hcg blood draw? I thought you have to go off multiple draws to see that you’re all good?
