1st Consult w/reproductive endocrinologist for reoccurring miscarriages

Hi ladies. Would anyone be so kind to tell me what their first consult was like with their reproductive endocrinologist; what tests/suggestions they gave you for next time you got a BFP after having reoccurring miscarriages??

I have 1 healthy child, but have had two miscarriages back to back in the past 8 months, BO.

My obgyn is doing a blood work up now; and gave me a referral to fertility specialist but it’s so $$. I don’t mind paying it but I’m just not sure if I should get into the elaborate testing or wait, did anyone find answers?

My dr. Thinks I should wait doesn’t think it’s genetic since I already have a child with same partner but that’s easier to say.. she did say she would put me on progesterone suppositories next pregnancy. I mean do you think I’ll get something more out of the consult or should I just go with the blood work, progesterone and wait till next pregnancy.

What would you guys do?? Struggling
