At what age did your child start & stop being clingy?

My son kids are 19,18,11 and 6 and still up my butt. Especially my son the 6 year old. He still sleeps in my bed, on top of me. If he isn’t touching me he will wake up. I still waiting for my me time.

Around 18 months, when we stopped breastfeeding! But I miss it! Now he is on the go all the time. He only cuddles and wants mama/dada when he is tired or in a new situation. If you can, cherish it! When it’s gone, you’ll miss it!

I’d say that kids are pretty clingy until about one year or one and a half, and then they go through spurts of either clinginess or “I can do it myself” for the rest of their lives.

My child is 3, and he has always been clingy and I love it. I don’t mind it at all!

My 13 month old is super clingy to the point sometimes she cries while I am driving because she cant see me. So I have to pull over and calm her down and in serious cases have hubby drive if she starts freaking when I go back up front.
