Bleeding while on Megace

So I started taking this medicine called Megace/Megestrol that my Gynecologist prescribed me & about 2 weeks ago I started spotting . Now I was told that I shouldn’t be bleeding while on this medicine but it has gotten a bit worse I will call her in the morning but I wanted to know if this has ever happened to anybody before .
