I just clipped it and my big toenail is really thick, and i feel like the skin is sensitive right above where my toenail now ends.

Looks like you would be getting an ingrown toe nail with how short you cut it on the sides. Your suppose to cut it straight across to avoid getting ingrown toenails.😬 but just so you know that’s some further advice. I’m also a cosmetologist and am specifically taught that at school. 😊
