Animal appreciation post

My beautiful Autumn. My husband and I have had her for a couple of years now and she’s becoming more and more cuddly. We suspect she lived on the streets at some point and we think she ended up that way because her previous owners abandoned her; she definitely has separation anxiety. :( She’s not the most affectionate cat but she definitely has been becoming more and more loving the longer we’ve had her. Anyway the point of the post. Cats don’t always seem get credit for their sensitivity to human emotion/knowing when something is wrong and their human is upset. Earlier today, I had a bad anxiety attack, sobbing, asthma acting up, hyperventilating, the works. My husband was holding me and trying to calm me down and he told me after it happened that she jumped up on the bed right by me during it (which I sort of noticed) where there wasn’t room really so she eventually had to jump down, but she tried to stay up there and was sniffing me like she knew something was wrong and then jumped down by the bed and stayed there looking up at us until I calmed down. There wasn’t room to cuddle so that’s where she camped out through it. <3 I think she would’ve cuddled if there was room for her.
