How did y’all get your newborns to go to sleep?

I know they sleep a lot but st night I can’t get mine to sleep and I’m sleep deprived. He is only two weeks but I’m doing this basically alone. I have my mom but she help so much during the day I feel st night she should get her rest. I had a c section and in pain and baby not sleeping is getting to me. I’m so depressed and tired. I just cry st night csuse hsrd for him to sleep.

He will sleep when I hold him but can’t hold him all night. As soon as I put him down in bassinet or even my bed mattress he wakes up within 10 minutes and cries and cries.

Besides a 10 minute nap the baby has been up since 5pm and it’s 10:30 my time .

I just order a shhhh machine from amazon that has good reviews.

Is there a trick I don’t know about.

I even had a doctor appointment yesterday to see if baby was sick or something and baby is fine.

I think most thing is the baby be gassy maybe
