I had to have surgery to remove an ectopic pregnancy last week but 3 days after I started bleeding like a normal period which was bright - dark red. It is not soaking my pad every hour on the hour. I am wearing “Always” brand long length pads that I usually wear when I have my periods. However whenever I stand up, I can feel blood leaking out which then goes onto my pad... again, not soaking it. I go for a wee and blood comes out again, I wipe and it is very dark red with small pip sized clots.

I have read that this can last up to 2 weeks! I hope not as I am feeling really lethargic, tired and I have a banging headache even after taking paracetamol. Can anyone please tell me if you had similar vaginal bleeding? I don’t have any fever, my pain has actually subsided massively but i am just feeling so, so tired.

Any one help? I had a cornual ectopic so they had to resect my uterus which maybe explains why I’m bleeding more than usual but I am concerned. They discharged me the following day after having surgery in the <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">eve</a> with no leaflets, no information, nothing!
