I appreciate you

We’ve known each other for almost 3 years.

He told me he liked me first. I told him I loved him he said I love u too. But he constantly says he appreciates me. He’s never come to me and told me he loves me. Am I thinking to much into it? He hasn’t asked me out yet either but I guess I’m just trying to figure out if he’s really that into me? Or what?
