Do you shave before getting a pelvic exam?

My first time ever going to pp I just left it natural cause I thought it would be weird if I shaved for the doctor lmao.
But I’m wondering what to do before my appointment Wednesday.

When i was pregnant I shaved for my doctor more than i shaved for my man. Lol

You shouldn’t shave for exam if you’re not shaving on regular basis. I heard that lots of women use perfumes and do a “special care” for exams but your doctor want to see things as they are any day, not just on your exam day. You can trim your pubes but if shaving is not your regular routine don’t do that!

I always make sure things are freshly shaved and neat for the doctor. They may not care, but I do. I hate pubic hair on myself (I'm also a professional wax technician, so theres that lol) so normally I wax, but being 23 weeks pregnant, I can not reach to wax anymore, so shaved it is.

I shave on weekends, so if my appointment is on a Thursday I don’t reshave for it. 
Doctors don’t care.
