fast Reduction in fitness in pregnancy

Hi there so before pregnancy I became quite fit, the best cardiovascular health I’ve ever been in I think.

I started running last summer and i’ve been running 2 or sometimes 3 times a week with a club, and got my parkrun 5k time down to 28 minutes from starting at 34. I was training for a 10K but I found out I was pregnant with my second and it’s was a little touch and go with bleeding at the beginning so i decided not to do it ( I would have been 8 weeks when the 10k took place) In my first trimester I really struggled with exhaustion and bleeding and I didn’t run from about 6 weeks until 12 weeks.

I’m now 14 weeks and i’m feeling a bit better and trying to get back into it slowly but I find Ive totally lost my fitness. I tire sooo quickly so I can run for only a few minutes at a time before I have to walk for ages to catch up with myself. I get breathless so quick just going up a few stairs. My fitbit is telling me my heart rates hitting peak upto 160bpm

I can’t help but feel disappointment in myself as I know exercise is good for me and baby and I usually enjoy it but not right now 😕 I feel a bit embarrassed when I see people around who know me to be quite fast because I’m not showing massively and they must be thinking Woah wtf happened to her?
