I just switched to the convertible today. It’s just too dang heavy to carry her in it anymore! I found myself leaving the infant seat in the car and just taking her in and out so I figured it was time.

I put my son in a convertible car seat at 4 months because he was already 16-17 lbs by then. The infant car seat was getting heavy and I wanted to see if he would act better in one than an infant. Lol he still hated car rides

Our little guy was 13 months when we switched to a convertible seat. We plan on keeping him rear facing for as long as possible.
