My husband and I live with my in-laws while we are saving for a house. We made this decision agreeing on both parties as long as the respect is mutual, and we pay $300 a month. Unfortunately my in-laws have not been so respectful such as barging in our room at 11 PM while one of us is asleep. They seem to enjoy picking fights with my husband making him feel as though he’s a child again. His father pushes him to work around the clock after his full time job he has away from his fathers business (when he works for his dad he doesn’t get paid). They tell both him and I what we are doing wrong in our marriage (I don’t take their advice due to my MIL being a victim of domestic violence for so long from my FIL). All in all how do I tell my in laws to basically shut the F*** up? (Moving out has been on the table for awhile but we live in a small town that nothing is for rent at the moment and moving to a farther town would make our work commutes over an hr through canyons with high snow pack in winter)
