Dating vs. relationship

Kind of new to the dating game as I am back in the game after a long term relationship.

Long story short:

Met a guy on tinder.

We totally hit it off. Been seeing each other for a month and we let the kiddos meet since they’re friends in school. So it’s easy to hang out.

Well. Here’s the kicker. We’re both still on tinder. I tried letting him “take the lead” but I asked him like if he was seeing other people or if we’re in a relationship. It’s been a month and I’m a little confused.

So he said “we’re dating, we’re not exclusive but you met my kids and we’re still getting to know each other” but I’m just confused. Do I end things or let it drag out on his time.

We are sexually actively together. When we don’t have kids we do spend nights together. He won’t add me on fb til we’re exclusive. Because he gets so many random chicks adding him and they comment dumb things he says he doesn’t want to piss me off.

A part of me wants to end it because I don’t want to get hurt. And a part of me thinks just go with the flow and see where it goes.

Does anyone have any advice?
