Hair loss and pregnancy?

Okay I've always been told that when your pregnant your hair comes in long and thick die to all the hormones. Well my first trimester everyday I had chunks of hair falling out and now at my fourth month it's not falling out anymore but it's not as nice as it was. All my blood work came back good nothing off. Curious if anyone has had this happen? My hair is long and I want to cut it short now since it just doesn't look as nice as it did.

Same here! I’m scared. I had alopecia with my first and had a quarter sized bald spot - like completely bare! I don’t want that again

Same here. With my daughter, I had the lucsious pregnancy locks. This time they're falling in clumps like they do post partum, and overall they're just dry and brittle which was never a problem before pregnancy no.2

This is my second pregnancy and both times I lost hair in the first trimester. During the first pregnancy it stopped falling out around 15 weeks and got thick(er) and shiny after that. Then it all felt out again about 8-12 weeks postpartum. Not sure it’ll be the same for you but it was a roller coaster for me!

Ask your doctor about prescription strength prenatals, you may be lacking in one of your nutrients.
