My kiddo has been fascinated with toilets lately, so we got her a little potty last week. We are using commando method when at home, and it’s working! After prompting her to go sit on it every hour or so for a couple days, she learned when she has to go and started to sit on her potty and go on her own.

Then yesterday, the novelty wore off and it became this giant willpower battle to get her to sit on the potty. So I moved to a reward system and that is currently working super well for us! She gets a small candy for sitting on the potty. Yes, it’s bribery. But it has worked beautifully so far.

Moving on to underwear soon! I honestly wasn’t planning to potty train so early, but she was ready and literally asking to use the potty.
