Does anybody have experience with these types of birthmarks?

My baby has some light “angel kisses” on her forehead & we figured this was the same thing, until it started getting extremely dark & some spots are raised. Not sure if I should bring her to her doctor before her 2 month visit (in 2 & 1/2 weeks) to get it looked at?

Two of my sons have these. They are called hemangioma often called strawberry birthmarks. They start off as pink spots then start raising like how your LOs is now.

It’s a hemangioma birth mark, it’s normal for them to get darker and raise up until they turn one then they will shrink and the color will fade. This is my daughters at 6 weeks and was not present at birth.

That seems very dark. Try and take your baby in before her 2 month appt.

I had a hemangioma on my head and it’s now lost its color and flat.

My little cousin was born with one the size of a large strawberry on her forehead. It went away completely by the time she was about 6 or 7

I personally would go to the dr just to make sure it isn’t a skin rash or anything serious.
