Could be the start?

FTM. 37w1d. Starting to feel light cramps like my period is coming. Cramps come & go. Is this a possible sign labor is soon to come? Is this how it feels before contractions get stronger?

I get really bad period like cramping. It’s very inconsistent. My doc says it my uterus prepping for birth and actually creating more pain receptors to facilitate birth. Ouch though!

Been having this feeling for the couple of weeks now. If the contractions get consistent and stronger u might wanna go get check.

It can be a sign but could also just be discomforts of late pregnancy. I’ve been having them for weeks. If they get more painful start timing them. The rule here is contractions 5 minutes apart lasting 1 minute for 1 hour
