Keeping my baby's privacy

Since I was pregnant I decided that I wouldn't be posting pictures of my baby on Facebook since I didn't want to expose her to social media and I made it very clear to all my family on my side and my husbands side that I didnt want them to be posting pictures of her at all and if they would they should ask me beforehand. My husband only posted her a few times on his private Instagram account which it's okay hes her dad. But am I being overprotective or irrational? I just dont want other family members to expose my baby to people I dont know but whom know me and my baby, there's bad people out there and you never know plus I simply want to not put her out there. What do you think?
