Spray tans are not safe at anytime of pregnancy because of the fumes. However, tanning lotions & mousse are okay to use if applied in a well-ventilated area.

My doctor said it was fine for me to get one for a wedding I am in next month. She said as long as the room is well ventilated and I don’t make a habit out of it, it is completely fine!

With my first pregnancy 6 years ago my doctor said it was okay, I will likely get one before a wedding I am in in November (I’ll be almost 6 months ). I know my cousin also just recently got one for her maternity shoot and her doctor also okayed it for her.
 I tried to hold my breath during sprays as long as possible to not inhale any extra fumes and my daughter was fine. I probably wouldn’t make a habit of it, and just check with your doctor in case.

I wouldn’t risk it. Who knows what’s in it and is it even worth it..
