Are you breastfeeding? My OB told me it takes longer to lighten up if so. I use aloe and tea tree during the day and Mederma intensive repair overnight which has helped immensely!

Buy scar recovery gel that’s silicone based. Many plastic surgeons recommend it to lighten up scar and u are at perfect point to start that now that it’s been closed for a while. It does look normal for thar point in healing :)
