If I have a glass of wine, when would it be ok to feed baby again?

Straight away. The only danger to feeding while drinking is dropping baby/falling asleep e.g but obviously no mother is going to get drunk while they have kids to take care of regardless of how they’re Fed. Breastmilk is made from your blood, you would be nearly dead if you had a 0.3% blood alcohol reading.. but at that point your breastmilk would only contain 0.3% alcohol which is less then orange juice. If you look up Doctor Jack Newman he explains it very well and has done a lot of research on it. Enjoy your wine mama! 🥰

As long as you’re ok to drive you’re ok to nurse. If you feel tipsy you probably shouldn’t (just for safety reasons.) but my dr. has told me it actually takes a lot of alcohol to get into your milk, but there isn’t a ton of research on the subject 🤷🏽‍♀️ just be smart about it and you’re fine!

My lactation specialist said if you drink one drink within 15 minutes then you should wait 2 hours. If you are sipping on a glass of wine then you are fine to breastfeed anytime. So for me it takes an hour to drink a small 5 ounces of wine since I sip it i am a slow drinker so I would be fine to breastfeed at anytime.
