Getting induced one wednesday at 8 am, my husband cant make it til after lunch. Would it be weird to ask a friend to come hang out til he gets there?

When I was induced I was super bored until the contractions started. Then it went epidural, nap, nausea, pushing, baby. In that order. While process from initial IV to birth was just over 8 hours and I was coherent enough to hang out with people for probably 6 or 7 of those.
