When did you find out?

When did you find out you cervix was getting short? Was it normal on the first scans (8 weeks and 12 weeks) and then started to get short?

I went for my 23 week follow up and out of no where I was dilated 2cm. I had absolutely no signs of my cervix shortening prior to. I ended up having my daughter at 25 weeks. I just found out I’m pregnant with my second and will get a preventative cerclage around 10 weeks.

It wasn't checked in my first pregnancy, and my son was born at 25 weeks. In my second, it started at 14 weeks. Had the cerclage done at 12 weeks for my third.

Mine was short right from the beginning. Cervical changes aren’t normal until the third trimester.

Mine was 4.5 cm until boom 21 weeks I had cramping went to go get checked my cervix was 1.9cm had to get the rescue stitch the next day cause it went down to 1.0cm on ultrasound with the cerclage in at 29 weeks I’m funneling but 2.6cm long with the stitch slight pink and red spotting now, my doctor said around 30 weeks is when itll probly start going shorter

I learned my cervix was short at 23 weeks because I went to the er for pain. Dr said it was too late to get a cerclage and I was dilated to where the sack was visible so the chances of losing her was very high with the surgery so we decided to go the alternate route with progesterone. I was admitted for about a week. Nothing changed, no bleeding, discharged pain or pressure so I was release.  3 days later, I returned to find out my water broke and now I am admitted till further notice. Nothing changed besides having fluid coming out which they say is normal. Just praying baby girl stays as long as possible. Her due date is August 26.

At my first appointment which was 7weeks 6 days I was diagnosed with low cervix  .4 . It went up after but still low, scheduled for a Cerclarge next week im currently 14 weeks.

At around 26 weeks for me so I couldn’t get the cerclage.
