10 week old sucking thumb?

Does ur 10 week old babies really want to suck all the time, be it thumb, mittens or clothes or pacifier ? 
Is it normal ?

Yup! It’s the first step to learning to put things in their mouth.

Yes, mine does. It’s totally normal for this age and a sign that they are learning to self-soothe. My doctor said they typically grow out of it within the first year as they learn other skills so I’m not concerned about it being a habit. In fact since he found his thumb he is able to put himself back to sleep when he wakes at night and has slept through the night for the first time the last two nights.

My daughter can’t just get her thumb, so she puts her whole fist in her mouth (as much as will fit). 🤣

Our 9 week old has recently found his thumb and loves it! We can put him down in the crib and he falls asleep on his own for naps, it's a total game changer! And when he wakes up he just sticks it back in and goes back to sleep. Waiting for him to do the same at night too. 
Totally normal and a big developmental milestone! It means they have learned that sucking soothes them and that they have something on their body they can use to soothe themselves. It usually stops around 6-7 months when they find other ways to self soothe. Can continue up to 4 years without dental issues (same as pacifier), though most kids stop before then.

My son has tried but we don’t let him. I don’t wanna start that habit. At least with the passy you can take it away
