Do you have to take progesterone with baby aspirin?

Question

I have been prescribed to take one baby aspirin a day to avoid a miscarriage but after reading some post a few ladies said they were given progesterone along side the aspirin and it normally isn’t taken alone?
Is this true? Shall I ask my midwife? Please help if anyone has taken baby aspirin in pregnancy. Thanks

Different women are advised to take different things or different combinations of things depending on their specific issue. If progesterone levels are good, there is no need to take it with the baby aspirin. A coworker of mine took only baby aspirin to prevent MC. I started on both baby aspirin and progesterone due to my baby being an IVF baby. After 10 weeks I stopped taking the progesterone but my doctor has me on the baby aspirin for the remainder of my pregnancy. There are too many variables, too many issues, too many specifics to compare with others. If you trust your provider, then just do what they suggest. No one on here is qualified to give medical advice, especially without knowing your specific issues/diagnosis/work ups etc

I’ve never heard of this. I’ve always heard aspirin should be avoided and only Tylenol is okay to take. 
Progesterone I have taken because my levels were low. But nothing needed to be taken with them.

I've been taking both since the beginning due to a previous loss. I still take low dose aspirin every day  and I took progesterone until I was twelve weeks. I'm 35 right now. I read some conflicting things but I didn't want to not give it a try and lose another baby.

I’m on baby aspirin without progesterone. My levels were well into the normal range and my doctor didn’t feel I needed it. I’m 15 weeks. 4th pregnancy and farthest I’ve made it. I’d say the two don’t always go together, but often progesterone is prescribed because it “can’t hurt.” It does have quite a few side effects, though.

I take baby aspirin to prevent pre-e alone. I’ve never needed progesterone with it. I’ve been taking it since 14 weeks, I’m now 32 weeks

I take a aspirin a day and vaginal progesterone suppository every day for 30 days to try and prevent a miscarriage. I go back to the doctor September 6th for another sonogram and see the doctor. Praying everything still looks great.

I took baby asprin alone with prenatals for about 6 months of ttc. I dont believe they go hand in hand but they are often prescribed together if a doctor cant figure out why recurrent miscarriage is happening. Its possible to just be recommended to just take baby asprin.
