I think it really depends on the person and the baby. My first son was born at 37 weeks but my friends first daughter was born past 40.

Every pregnancy is different, you just never know. I know a lot of first time moms who had their babies late, but I also know some who have had their babies 2-4 weeks early.

My first came two and a half weeks early. Still considered full term.

My first was 9 days late. Meanwhile my sisters water broke on her due date and her son was born 2 days later. I actually don’t know anyone else whose first baby was as late as mine though. I’m anticipating this one might be a bit earlier since I think my dates are closer to accurate and he was measuring a little big at our anatomy scan, but “early” for me means like 40 weeks instead of 41 😂
