What can your little one do?

Question

So my little one is 8 months on sept 5 and she’s been sitting since like 5.5 months and she tries to pull up but gets about half way and falls lol. She loves standing and she can stand holding onto her activity table or the couch for a while, she prefers that to sitting now but she wants me to put her into the position. She crawls kinda but she crawls backwards if that makes sense and rolls a lot. What I’m wondering is when did your babies start being able to transfer into positions. My daughter has never been able to get from lying to sitting on her own and hasn’t even really tried. I know all kids do things in their own time but I is there anything I should do to encourage her to learn?

My daughter sounds the same as yours except with the pulling up on things. She tries to crawl and does the rocking back and forth on her hands and knees but just ends up scooting backwards lol. She'll be 8 months on the 8th. I read somewhere that babies focus on learning different things at different times, so even though they may seem a little stagnant with the crawling they are developing elsewhere! For example my daughter has been super interested in learning new words and perfecting her pincher grasp. Everything will come in due time 😊

Nah let her go at her own pace she’ll get it on her own I promise. All 3 of my kids have things at their own pace and been fine. My son turned 7 months yesterday. He can get up and down my furniture on his own if I let him (which I’m careful with) . But he can’t get from his belly to sitting just yet with out alotof effort . He cruises my furniture  . But just go with the flow

My daughter is 7 months old and has been pulling up to stand for about 6 weeks now! She crawls like a pro and cruises the furniture. She also walks with one of those push walker things lol and she can go from laying on her tummy to sitting. But we didn’t do anything necessarily to encourage it. Babies will do things at their own pace ☺️

My LO is a December baby (Dec 30th). She can crawl, get into sitting position, pull up and scale, is starting to balance without holding onto anything, and walks with assistance (using one or both hands to hold onto my finger). She can wave. She can say mama, dada, hi, and banana. She can sign milk, all done, and more. She’s growing too fast! 😭😭

Sitting since 4 months trying to crawl since birth, yet somehow she still not great at it😂. She’s standing, she can click and make beats, she’s sings and try’s to say her abcs, she dances to everything, she claps yay. She can sign come here, bye and hello. She says girl, mama, dada, hm, okay, yes. Can go without a diaper for long periods of time I’m potty training her. She puts herself to sleep and can roll fro
 Front to back and back to front since 4 months. She can go from sitting to her knees and back to sitting. She can get into sitting position from laying. And she can look between her legs. She tried to wipe herself when she’s wet. She know when she has to pee. She wipes her face and can pick up small finger foods with her index and thumb and put it in her mouth, she can slurp Up noodles and feed herself it’s a spoon. She’s doing amazing

My little girl is 7 months been crawling proficiently for three weeks, she stands up on everything that she can pull herself up on like the couch and we have a baby gate on the stairs cause she was starting to pull herself up on them ... she sits up a lot and plays with her toys! I’m very impressed with her! But it’s made my job harder for sure so enjoy your little one before she gets really proficient lol!!! All babies do things at their own pace and you’re baby still sounds ahead of the game!
