Baby shower budget?!

What’s a good budget for a baby shower?! 
I’m looking to do a baby shower brunch & from the venues I’ve looked at it ranges from 1,000-1200 for about two hours?  
Hubby thinks it’s way too much for a baby shower but it’s my first and I have nothing to compare it too😩 HELP

That is ridiculous! Unless you're high maintenance and need a fancy place, I would definitely look somewhere a LOT cheaper. 😅

This is why I’m having mine at free venues. My home and families home. I couldn’t justify renting a venue.

It’s really a preference thing. If I spent too much on a shower all I’d think about is all the stuff I could have gotten the baby. But if it’s in your budget go for it!

Its also our first baby so we’re doing a glam backyard baby shower. We rented a huge tent with tables and chairs for $200. And paid $550 to have it decorated. $200 for catering. So it’ll still be nice but it won’t completely break the bank!

Lol my budget for my entire shower is like 150 or less!! And I'm stuggling to do that! Having it at home Barrow g a couple tables. Everyone bring their lawn chairs... lol help me I'm poor 😂

I dont know I’ve already spent over $2,500 for my baby shower this Saturday. It depends what your budget is!

It all depends on your financial situation. I am having two showers. One is at my sister in laws house and the other is at a venue. Together, they will probably be about $3k.

We are doing ours at a restaurant and expecting about 30 people and will be spending about 600 in food. Add in decor, and desserts, games, etc we will definitely be around $1000. 🤷

Oh gosh, it’s our first baby, and our rental is $175 for 5 hours and I thought it was a lot! 🤦🏽‍♀️😅
