When I got my MPA, it seems like at least half of the people in the program had children. Classes were from 6-10pm, almost everyone had fulltime jobs.

I got my MBA through capella university while pregnant. I like that it was online because I was able to go at my own pace. It took me 8 months start to finish. I was pregnant and worked full time and was still able to finish in 8 months. I’m sure it would have taken longer once baby was here but still do-able.

I can sort of relate. I got my mba right before I got pregnant (ttc for 2 years while in school) buuuut I have yet to see any ROI from my degree. I’m stuck with the loans and have been unemployed for almost 2 years now. I know you were asking more about school/life balance but just make sure you have solid employment opportunities with another degree. Completely not worth it for me.
