I guess I just need to get this off my chest. I’m 28 and go to the doctor for check ups regularly. No children or pregnancies ever. The only health issue I have is I’m pre-diabetic. I was told yesterday at my checkup appointment I may have fatty liver disease based on my liver enzymes in my blood, so I am scheduled for a liver ultrasound next Friday to confirm or deny and see where I need to go next. Has anyone on here had this done before? What should I expect? I’ve never had an ultrasound before. I really wish my mom could come with me, but she lives 4 hours away and I haven’t told her yet because I don’t want to worry her. I know it’s not a huge procedure and it won’t take long, but I wish someone was able to come. I don’t have any family or close friends to come with me. I guess I’m just overwhelmed and kinda scared. 😔 Any advice?
