I’m 40+6 and consented to my first membrane sweep and the midwife couldn’t reach my cervix it was so posterior. Ughhhh she tried to be reassuring by saying things can change quickly but my doula thinks that means it will still be another few days. I’m getting calls and texts every day asking about the baby and I have to say NOPE still pregnant. 😐 I really want to avoid induction so I’m doing what I can. It feels like my body is not cooperating— not the best attitude to have going into labor. Please send me strength and patience.
