I’ve had the Skyla iud for a little over 5 months and my period this time is 3 days late. I had the Mirena iud 2 years ago and it never stopped my period. Should I take a pregnancy test just to be sure or not worry about it? Thanks ladies!

It's more likely a side effect of the iud than pregnancy.

It doesn't hurt to get as test just to be sure but I was the opposite. I had the mirena for about 2 years and my periods stopped almost completely. Your body may actually stop having periods with this new BC after a few months. It's not uncommon.
