Sorry for the bad picture! I went for my first ultrasound today and according to my last period I’m supposed to be 8 weeks. But the doctor told me there’s nothing I should be worried about that I ovulated late, because the baby measured 6W3D (i figured that because i got a late positive). But how come my GA on the picture still says 8W?

Because that's what you were expected to be based on your LMP and the sonographer entered your LMP into the machine before starting the exam.

That's just how far you were estimated to be by lmp. My first ultrasound I was estimated to be 10 weeks by lmp and I was really only 8 weeks 4 days. Just ignore it. If baby measured 6 weeks 3 days then that's how far along they'll consider you. Ultrasound is more accurate than going by lmp.
