I had a Pap smear done in May of 2018, everything was good, nothing abnormal.

Now in August 2019 at my 5 week prenatal appointment they did another Pap smear. This came back with abnormal cells.

The Dr. wants me to come in now at 6 weeks for a colposcopy and cervical biopsy.

I’m so stressed out and confused. I’m not sure what to expect and if this is all safe for my baby. My husband and I were ttc for 1.5 years, and we’re so overjoyed with finally conceiving. Now this news is just bringing me down.

Has anyone else experienced a situation like this? I’d like to hear your story, and your experiences please!
