I went off the pill in June and was expecting my periods to go back to the hell they were before I started 10 years ago. When I was a teenager and into my early 20s my periods were crazy heavy, long, and terribly painful.

I’ve had two natural periods (not counting the withdrawal bleed from going off the pill) and they’re actually lighter than they were when I was on the pill even! Still a little long, but no cramping or other symptoms. they’re totally manageable.

I’m wondering if anybody else has experienced that? Periods that got lighter than they were when you were on the pill after you got off?
