Trying anal for the first time

I know this is always a weird subject but me and my boyfriend would like to try anal but I’m a little nervous we have been working up to it with him just using his fingers but for days after I feel like I can’t poop. I’m not exactly sure what to do and was really hoping some of you could give me any possible tips it would be very helpful.
