My fiancé and I have been together for 4 years and last year he proposed to me. About 4 months later we found out I was pregnant unexpectedly and we were excited because I suffered a miscarriage two months earlier. We were blessed again with another baby. I wanted to get married when I was pregnant but we were going through a tough time and we didn’t have the money for a court wedding . My mother also wanted me to have a traditional wedding so she talked me into having my wedding next year in October. (She’s helping us pay for it.) I had my daughter this June and while filing out the papers for the birth certificate I was bummed that we all didn’t have the same last name. I still am. My aunts are really judgmental even though two of them have had babies out of wedlock. One of them even asked my mom why my fiancé didn’t marry me before getting me pregnant. I know I shouldn’t care what other people think but people make it seems like a bad thing having babies out of wedlock.
