Do you think december is too late to have a baby shower?

I want to wait till after black Friday to have my baby shower to try and help out some family since we arent the wealthiest family. I know they want to help contribute buy I dont want them to spend a fortune.

Personally i always find December way too busy with Christmas stuff and January I feel is too late, plus the winter weather can be too iffy; so I'm planning a November shower

I had a January 2020 baby and I felt like everyone is too busy in December so I did November I loved having the extra time to get everything put away and neat and get anything else I needed

If the baby comes early, you can always turn the shower into a “Sip n See.” If you are comfortable with a lot of people being around your baby.

My mom is planning mine for Jan 4th and I’m due Jan 20th 🤷🏼‍♀️ I thought it was too close to due date but she’s insisting, so... haha

It’s usually recommended at about 6 weeks, just in case baby comes early. It is pretty close but I think if you do it first thing in December you’d be okay. :)
