Tips for breast feeding ?

Anyone have tips on good holds or what worked for you? I have less than perky boobs after two kids and quite a bit of weight loss. He does great latching with a nipple shield, not so much without.. but we can never find a comfortable way to sit and feed.. he always ends up falling asleep from trying to work so hard at it..

Look up the football hold or cross cradle! With a pillow wedged underneath your baby, you both should feel a little more comfortable.
My BF class also said (which sounds weird) but if you hold/pinch around your areola to prepare to insert in babies mouth, tickle their nose with it and AS SOON AS baby opens their mouth, you bring the baby to your nipple. You sort of insert your nipple from bottom to top. 
(I'm sure if you google these things it will be a lot more clear than the way I'm describing 😭😅) also I was dying laughing in my class watching videos of moms tickling their babies nose with their nipple LMAO but I guess it works??
Also the class said to calm the baby before attempting to feed.

Another believer in the football hold . My second child and this is my first time using it. I was having trouble after csection and lactation consultant showed me this. They get a deeper latch this way when your both learning

Based on your breast description I would suggest the laid back position and pinching the Areola like a ‘tea cup’ to help with latch.

My babe literally won’t wake up for feedings. I wack his feet, try and get him moving a bit. Nothing works. I also have to pump and pretty much force feed him bottles. It’s discouraging. 😓😓😓😓.

I have been propping up my boobs by rolling a flannel and putting that under it, has helped so much

I’m pretty small chested so the only position that works for us is the cross cradle, and I’ve always used a boppy for support. Also, maybe try craddeling your breast by using a C shape with your hand to almost act like your holding a bottle. It may create a firmer shape to your breast giving a better latch.
