Did your kid ever have an accident at the store while potty training?

How did you handle it? I know to make sure he pee/poops before leaving the house but like...if you have had this experience before please share so I know what I should do lol I guess I also just wanna know in the back of my mind that I’m not the only one😅if it does happen.

Yes, i always carry extra pants, undies, and a bag to put the dirty clothes in. I would just tell him that he needs to tell me when he has to go and there is always a toilet near by when we go out.

My son didnt have an accident while shopping. But for the first few weeks I brought  a change of clothes and wipes in a bag just in case. And then I prayed we wouldn't need them.

Oh yes. That’s so normal. I try not to make a big deal about it. We just go to the bathroom and get cleaned up and changed. I always make sure to have an extra outfit and underwear when I’m out with my child.

Our first few outings after being potty trained I brought a towel for my daughter to sit on just in case. Luckily she never had an accident while at the store, but it eased my concern about a possible puddle on the floor and having no idea what to do!

Today my 2.5 year old son went out for the forst time with no pull up pants on as hes done so well at home. We did a 20 minute drive and walked. We got to a car park where it was heaving only one space everyones fighting for this one soace to get there in time and my son decides no ones getting this space but him as he is going to take his pants down squat and pee everywhere...... omg super embarrassed. I cleaned him up roughly as he was covered in pee removed him from the space and proceeded two minute walk to the toilets we were aiming for to get him changed and cleaned properly.
Came out and one lady said to me don't be embarrassed hes just a babyand stopped car parking ward at its finest 😂😂

I brought a puppy pad for mine to sit on in the car and grocery carts. We never needed it for the store but it made clean up easy in the car when she had an accident once.
