How much & how often are you giving your 5 month old baby food?

Just purées. Right now I give her one 2 oz tub for breakfast and one 2 oz tub for dinner. She still nurses a lot day and night so no worry there :)

My baby gets 1 oz serving at lunch, and 2 oz at dinner and she gets her transitional sippy with 3 oz in it each time too. Shes BF and doesn't take bottles so I am very thankful I can get her to drink from her sippy while she has her purees :)

We do a small amount (1-2 tbs) of a fruit or oatmeal around lunchtime then at dinner she has about half a tub of fruit purée mixed with whole milk plain unsweetened yogurt. She loves the yogurt.

We do purée mixed with breast milk. Around 3 oz of food and an ounce of milk, sometimes the ratio is off but he is now eating about 4 oz at night for dinner. I think he wants it more often!

24 weeks and just starting with fresh first foods - avocado and banana, the past few days. He’s feeling left out during dinner. Started him just with spoons at the table before that..

we arent doing food until 6 months and when we start it will be BLW rather than traditional. so excited to start!
