I was wondering what a good hair cut would be where you can just brush it and put some serum in it and you'll be looking fly?

I'm lazy and uneducated when it comes to beauty, I want a new hair style but I also don't want to do spend so long in the mirror to make it look fly. So what would be a good haircut for it? I was thinking maybe layers? I have bangs and straight cut hair that passes my shoulders.
