I’ve worked for other retail stores and I have never worked less than a 8 hr shift but now I’m at Homedepot and my shifts are all over the place I never get 8 hr shifts. I work between 19-25 hrs but I need more I’m really struggling and I can’t get a 2nd job. I want to ask for 4 8hr shifts. I’m working 6 days and only have 30 hours. I’m working to many days but not enough hours. I only have 30 hrs bc I picked up a shift. Nobody gets these shifts tho only the people who’ve been there years are getting 40 hours, I really only want 30-32 with Christmas. How can I ask? I’m really admit about asking for 4 8 hour shifts a week. I don’t want to work these 4 hr shifts anymore. I’ve been there 6 months
